Sermon: “A Heart for the Word” (Part 2) – 2 Chronicles 34:26-33 – Pastor Mark Rogers
A Word from Our Bulletin:
A heart for the Word is revealed not only by what we hear, but by how we respond. God’s truth calls us to humility, repentance, and renewed obedience. It is easy to listen to Scripture without allowing it to change us, but a tender heart receives God’s correction and willingly turns toward Him.
True spiritual renewal begins when we take God’s Word seriously. It leads us to examine our lives, remove what does not honor Him, and recommit ourselves to walking faithfully. This kind of response is never meant to remain private. A heart changed by the Word influences families, churches, and entire communities.
God honors those who approach Him with sincerity and humility. When His Word exposes sin, offers direction, or calls us back to faithfulness, we should respond without delay. A heart for the Word is a heart ready to listen, ready to obey, and ready to lead others closer to God.
