A Word from Our Bulletin:
Trusting Christ and obeying Him belong together. Genuine faith is not simply believing what Christ says; it is being willing to follow where He leads.
We cannot choose to obey only the commands that are easy or convenient and ignore the rest. True obedience comes from a heart that is fully surrendered to God.
A faithful follower does not continually question every instruction but trusts the One who gives it. In the same way, those who belong to Christ should seek to live under His direction in every area of life.
Our obedience will never be perfect, but our desire should be sincere: to follow Him faithfully, willingly, and with our whole heart.
